Looking like a big girl in her jeans!Time is just flying by isn't it? Kelsey has gotten so much bigger this month, she currently weights 16 pounds 13 ounces! She is reaching out for everything now and getting so close to rolling over. I know she's taking a little more time than other babies, but she just seems scared to fully commit to the roll. Sadly, she developed a really bad UTI this month which caused really high temperature, then really low temperatures. We were in the hospital for a day when her rectal temp read 95.3 degrees. She received a shot and seemed 100% better the next day. She was back to her old self - talking, cooing, smiling, it was a major relief. Anyways- we've seen more of her than we needed to at this young age. She had a kidney ultrasound and then a cath test done to make sure her pee was escaping correctly (which it was!). She's a trooper though, hung in like a champ and is all healed now.
We celebrated Kelsey's first thanksgiving in Runge, TX with John's family. We took her for a little 4-wheeler ride and she got to see John's first kill with his new rifle. She has already been introduced to a world that was very unfamiliar to me until I met John :) Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving...
